·Gansu: Pilot implementation of the mandatory bus rest system for passengers entering the province
In order to prevent the fatigue driving phenomenon of long-distance bus drivers and curb the occurrence of heavy road traffic accidents, Gansu Province began to implement the parking and rest measures in the mandatory service areas.
Recently, the Xiangquan Brigade of the First Branch of the Traffic Police Corps of the Gansu Provincial Public Security Bureau saw that the police were inspecting and registering each passenger car that entered Ningxia from Gansu Province and recorded the vehicle information into the inter-provincial long-distance bus supervision system. During the operation, Huanlan Expressway set up a rest warning sign at two inter-provincial traffic safety law enforcement service stations. A special rest area for long-distance buses will be built in Zhangjiasi and Xindun service areas. For the passenger cars in Qinghai and Ningxia that enter the expressway of Gansu Province, the driver is first checked and registered at Haishiwan and Liuzhaike, and the driver information is entered into the inter-provincial long-distance bus registration supervision system. It is necessary to take a break of 20 minutes in Zhangjia Temple and Xindun Service Area. Vehicles that have not reached 20 minutes will be punished according to relevant regulations.
