Introduction: On October 18th, the first smart meter verification pipeline in Hebei was put into trial operation at Shijiazhuang Power Supply Company and officially put into use. The assembly line is currently the largest smart meter verification pipeline in the State Grid Corporation of China. It consists of 5 bins and 10 pieces of 52-position verification production lines. It consists of 520 verification epitopes. The verification process requires no manual intervention, and the annual verification capacity reaches 1 million. Compared with the manual verification mode, the staff at the same workload is reduced to one-tenth and the working time is reduced by more than half.

Since 2010, Hebei Electric Power Company has started to build smart meter verification lines to improve smart meter detection capabilities, starting with intelligence and automation. The company reconstructed the production workshop and warehouse of the original Huaneng Electric Meter Factory, discussed the construction plan for many times, and actively introduced advanced foreign equipment to ensure the full detection of the functions of the smart meter.

In June 2011, the smart meter verification pipeline was built. After several months of trial operation, the verification procedures met the requirements for smart meter verification. The entire verification process completes the verification work such as withstand voltage test, parameter presetting, error determination, cost control function test, and automatic paste qualification certificate. The pipeline background control system consists of a monitoring center, a management workstation, an assembly line workstation, an authentication workstation, etc. Each workstation is based on Ethernet to establish a network, which can achieve overall coordination of equipment operation, pre-test preparation, control equipment operation, verification data processing, and the SG186 system. Docking.

At present, this verification line is mainly responsible for the verification of smart meters in Shijiazhuang city and its surrounding 17 counties and cities.
